laying out the service and facilities at KLIA, the main focus was on speed,
efficiency and comfort. Walkalators, elevators and the track transit system
together ensure fast commuting, minimal walking and effective transfers.
Within the terminal , a totel of 71 retail, 26 F7B and
four entertainment outlets are available to passengers and the public.
A total of 12 lounges have been provided for esteemed travellers.
The airside Transit Hotel has 80 day-use rooms complete
with ensuite shower and other conveniences for transit passengers. A five-star
hotel is located on the landside, within walking distance from the main
terminal building . Connected by a link-bridge to the main terminal building
, this 450-room hotal has numerous dining and recreation facilities. Its
architecture and interior complement the airport's green theme.
